Ya know, I didn't think about *sed* at all! (Slaps forehead). Thank you
thank you thank you. This will work!

The downside of being a former SW engineer is that when you need a
wrench and you can't find one, you tend to want to build one from
scratch...

www.dreamwvr.com/sed-info seems to be a great resource for sed. I
recommend sed to everyone.

but what the heck is www.dreamwvr.com itself? Looks weird!

Sounds like a job for sed. I've used sed for trivial substitutions, but
