Language is tool (just like Word, FM etc) and we need to know how to use
it properly. However, it's also context based - we're generally more lax
when writing emails than when doing formal docs and the same applies to
thing can be applied to language. When I lived in England my wife told
me that my voice changed when I phoned home - faster, accent changed
etc. We often subconsciously change how we speak to match the situation
we're in. Ditto manuals - user manuals and docs for techies often use
different language.
Generally I don't worry about it - I talk the way I talk and that's it.
