If one is the final editor as well as the original writer, the
easter-egg approach is possible:

Please examine the entire remote node. Each item
locates some other node.

This method is vaguely related to the map-maker's practise of
adding fictitious streets or even entire faked developments in
order to prove copyright when a competitor steals the map's
info.

I've never used this technique. Maybe I should have?
