I always include them. In my experience, screens that seem completely
self-explanatory when you're accustomed to them are sometimes confusing
to users who aren't accustomed to them--even technical users. Not to
mention that a lot of installation text that isn't broken up with
screenshots sounds a little mind-numbing to me.
