Well, though I hate how early XML entered this discussion (but
buzzwords often follow buzzwords *g*), XML takes care of formatting,
structure, and length of paragraphs, as well as much more. XML is just
a bunch of markup, really, but it's how you transform it that gives it
the bang for the buck.

And to answer the burning question... no, XML is not always the best solution.
