Another question to ponder

I am 62 and my boss is 43. We have about 100 employees at our location and
I am next to the oldest female. I have been here for 7 years. Everyone I
deal with is younger than me, but people just wander into my cube to sit
down and talk - from the GM of this division to the Technology Manager to
the guy who runs the paint shop, to the 28-year old production engineer
who's overwhelmed. Sometimes it's business and sometimes it's social.
People ask my opinion and advice. In return, they are eager to help me
whenever I need it. Maybe I'm the mom figure, but the key word is RESPECT.
Give it and you get it.
