I wouldn't necessarily argue that point, however it is how things
are done in most product development processes, and until I
am promoted from publications manager to CEO I'm not going
to expend much energy on trying to change that status quo. In
the situation raised in the original post, I'd rather be the one
documenting the argumentative and insubordinate person out the
door than the one being documented.
