I wasn't responding to the original post, but to Sandy's statement
that she could see no worthwhile reasons. In the absence of more
background, it isn't possible to determine what the reasons in the
original poster's situation were or if they were "worthwhile," but
that really wasn't the point of the post in the first place. The post
was about the effect the other writer's behavior was having on those
who were doing their work as directed by their company's
management.
There is nothing in the original post that indicates the information
being left out is feature related... it merely said "a specific type of
information" For all we know it could be a list of company locations.
All we do know is that management has decided to leave it out, and L's
coworker is defying a management decision. Crank up the machinery for
formal reprimand, warning, and termination. It's probably the only way
to correct this issue.
