I would also like to know how do the regulars manage
both i.e. TECHWRLing and techwriting????

As others have stated, I do not use my business email account for this list. I check the list two or three times a day; sometimes more if there is an interesting thread.

If the subject doesn't mean much to me, I ignore the whole thread. I don't use FrameMaker at work, so don't have the latest and greatest knowledge on that subject. I'm very good at Word, but most of what I can say on the subject is already in the archives.

I never get involved in the heated tools debates, especially when there are 50 posts already on the subject.

If there is a thread that I feel really needs my input (like the subject of software development life cycle documentation), I will put out a quick post. I seldom put out a message that takes me more than a minute or two to write.

Of course, I am a sucker for "Friday Silliness."
