I'm not going to trade in my car. Its trade-in value is negligible. I've had other trade-ins that were worth a fair amount though.

Trade in your pencil stub for a new pencil or go without.

I cannot find any examples with In capitalized, though, unless you are using upstyle headings.

I'm am thinking that unless it is part of a registered trademark, the three correct spellings are trade-in, Trade-in, and trade-ins. Does anyone have any information to the contrary?
