Thanks, but that's not what I mean by "dual-pane view." OK, it's two panes
(folder tree on left, contents of selected folder on right); maybe I should
have said "quad-pane view." :-)

Remember the Win3.1 File Manager? In the upper half, you could display one
location (say, C:\My Documents), and in the lower half, you could display
another location (say, M:\departmentdocs). PowerDesk lets you do that.

Explorer doesn't. To compare two different directories (or easily drag/drop,
etc.), you have to open two instances of Explorer and arrange the windows. A
step backward, if you ask me.
