How about 'extensions?'
I'd say 'patch' except that for some, patch carries the connotation of
fixing a bug (but not always). But the meaning of patch is close to
what you want: a temporary fix that will be added later.
Red Hat has categories called 'bugfixes' and 'enhancements,' which
separates the two concepts.
MS calls them Service Releases... SR1, SR2, etc containing bugfixes as
well as new features which are later rolled into the next release.
