The difficult ethical issue for me is failing to document problems and bugs.
When there are problems or bugs in a product, I generally try to document
workarounds. Numerous times I've been told to rewrite my treatment because
I've made a problem too evident: "We'll fix it in the next release ..."
Sometimes my writing can be improved, sometimes there's no way to document
the workaround without revealing the cause.

I've noticed numerous instances in documentation where the writer made the
unethical choice--don't document the workaround, do document what the
product is supposed to do but doesn't.

Dawn asked how we feel about her statement. From the replies so far, looks
like we feel pretty strongly. Hope you got what you needed, Dawn.
