Fair enough.

FWIW, I used to ride a motorcycle. An employer (not a
technical writing one, actually it was an employer in
the medical field) mentioned to me
that--employment-wise--it was best for me to
reconsider that. Am not sure Kant covered the
motorcycle thing, either.

IOW, am not trying to cheapen the issue of ethics by a
discussion of smoking, but am cheapening it by a
discussion of ethical discrimination as I have seen in
my career as a technical writer.

But, yeah, I do really see your point, so am done with
this thread. <g> Somebody else's turn.
