Hi again,

I'm using the latest DocBook DTD for XML (v4.2), but
I'm using Norman Walsh's "DocBook: The Definitive
Guide" (1999) to learn to use the DTD.

I've come up against a problem that may be caused by
advances in the DTD which occurred after the book was
published.

The book describes how to use entity declarations to
build a book. First you declare the entities, then you
refer to them (within a book element) using the
statement &chapter1;

This is causing validation errors in XMLSpy. Do you
know the correct way to refer to the entity, so I can
build my book?

Thanks,

Rowena
