We used to refer to this (internally) as the "Why
should I care" section of our Feature Notes.

Ironically, even features that were requested by a
customer might be ignored by that customer if they
don't recognize it. So we always put a bit of a
marketing slant in the introductory section of our
notes; then followed it up with the "how to"
information. "Now that you know you want
this...here's how to use it."
