I've heard the term before; there's meant to be a
subtle difference -- look at the sentence. "...
continued requests for /more detailed/ information..."
and the meaning is supposed to be to add to the
report to include all available data, which would be
different than making sure the data that it does
include is up-to-date.

Jargony to say the least, but once you figure out
what it means, you can figure out how to change it!
