Is anyone familiar with the term "up-to-data"?

I think the author meant to type 'up-to-date' as an adjective in the following sentence:
"The overwhelming response to these original reports and continued requests for more detailed information indicated the need for an up-to-data revision that would provide even more detail than the first two reports."

However, the search engine Google found the term "up-to-data" on the Internet on 3,140 pages.

Thanks.
