--> I discussed this with my boss after the meeting today. His response?
"We
want the best you can do. This system is a result of 20 different
application teams from 20 different companies, working independently of
each
other at different times over a three year period...NOBODY knows everything
about it. We're not looking for perfect...we're looking for a sold base
upon
which we can build" <--
In a very smaller level, the same happens here... The methodology in wich
applications are made change every day, making both the methodology and the
software a constantly mutating animal that just a few know about. For
every change I have to find a different person in charge of that and get
the knowledge and so on.
I'm kinda new at this, and what I try to do is to give the user the very
basic but correct knowledge. If there's something I'm not really sure, I
check it back with the SMEs or whoever can help me. Don't get frustrated,
I'm sure you're doing your best
:)
