Sorry, I meant to submit this last night but I forgot. I ran across an example of GREAT technical writing this weekend.

Go to the kitchen remodeling center at Home Depot and pick up their planning kit. It has catalogs from a few cabinet makers. One of them stands out, and it is helpful to have the others for comparison so you can see just how good it is. I believe the brand is Schwenk or Schenk (sorry, I don't have it in front of me). In any case, their logo is an Amish-style horse and buggy silhouette; so that should narrow it down.

At the back of the catalog is a planning guide that walks you through EVERYTHING you need to think about in planning a kitchen and getting it installed. My SO was thinking about cabinet styles and floor plans, perusing all the other catalogs, and I just stayed fixated on how well this document was written and presented. The others (including better known brands) paled by comparison.

Kudos to whoever wrote it!

Dick
