I'm ahead of Tom in the lurkerization process.
I used to post a lot, but some time ago I
posted a question and to my surprise I was
answered as if I were a newbie.

I virtually stopped posting as the list
became more tool-oriented (hey, these
tools all have lists of their own, don't they?)
and as it became necessary, before posting, to
stop and think if one had the time to defend
one's position against the inevitable sniping.
