> What do you do when you feel a little bored with your work and routine?
>
I have been mostly lurking in this thread hoping I would hear a better
suggestion. Boredom seems to me to be a symptom of potential burnout and
should be dealt with accordingly. Here's a few suggestions that I would
consider:
1. Whack the hell out of golf ball for about two hours a day;
2. if you are physically able, run as fast as you can for as long as you
can, at least three times a week;
3. go for a long hard swim;
4. take some chill time;
5. make mad passionate love with a partner of your choice;
and the least recommended,
tell your manager that you are completely bored and desperately need an
indeterminate time off. Now in the words of Andrew Plato, "get back to
work you."

longer than any hour. That's relativity,"
