IMHO, the fact that you're currently involved in creating WBT is far more
important than skill in any particular tool if you're aiming to become a
technical writer. By working on WBT you are presumably familiar with
audience analysis, information gathering, and explanation. These skills
will be much more useful than skill in any particular tool. Knowledge of
tools is great, but that alone won't make you a good technical writer.
