Best Practice: (noun) A proven process or procedure judged to be a good
example of a way to achieve a goal.

Best practices are shared frequently within an organization to spread
experience among groups. Generally identified by the group who performed the
procedure, they frequently offer recommendations to save time and money by
doing or not doing specific tasks in specific ways.
