These are usually standards and guidelines that outline relationships between processes and interfaces. See The Software Architect Bootcamp and also http://vig.pearsoned.com/store/home/1,4158,store-562_id-4354,00.html (a library of software architecture documents). In my experience, these documents are more process and less procedure.
