Hi Dick,

you wrote: "LOOK IT UP IN A FRIGGIN' DICTIONARY, WILL YOU PLEASE!"
where can I find the Friggin' dictionary? I have the New Shorter Oxford, the Duden, the Duden-Oxford, the Compact Euro Wörterbuch, the Laurence Urdang "Dictionary of Synonyms and Antonyms", and some more, including on-line dictionaries.
Is this Friggin dictionary a dictionary of slang, or of a special kind of computer language?
I did not even find it in Amazon, there are only some psychiatric books with a similar title.

I suppose it is a kind of idiom about dictionaries or a classification, isn't it? If it is a real dictionary, you proposed to use, please write me which one it is. It seems to be your favoured one.

Best regards
Bernd

People, people. We're not supposed to be discussing this on list, but
I'm tired of writing to each of you individually off-list. LOOK IT UP IN
A FRIGGIN' DICTIONARY, WILL YOU PLEASE!
