Subject:Summary: Revisions into Frame? From:"Jim Morgan" <Jim -dot- Morgan -at- portalplayer -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 1 Mar 2002 13:18:47 -0800
My thanks to those who responded on- and off-list to my question about methods for getting electronic revisions into Frame. The summary is that I was correct (for once!) in thinking there is no way to do so directly without all users having Frame.
The suggestions offered allowed electronic markup, but not direct transfer of that markup into the Frame document. Since:
* that approach introduces a source of potential errors and additional time costs;
* we have not suffered the problems that some described with document corruption from incorporating markup in Word; and
* all reviewers here have Word;
I guess I'm stuck with Word. Nonetheless, it is helpful to have my suspicions confirmed, and once again I appreciate the wisdom of the list members.
Thank you,
Jim
