I've written out or written around the product name as much as possible.
But there are some instances where the name just has to remain. What
I'd like to do is define a variable (a la Frame) for the product name in
one location, then "call in" that variable where appropriate. (I don't
have a lot of confidence that this is the last name change that will
happen, so it's worth it to me to spend the time to do this - assuming
it can be done - to save time in the future.)

Gentle techwr-lers, do you know of a way to do this?

For reasons which I also don't care to explain, I'm maintaining this
behemoth in HomeSite (4.5).

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Regards,

Anne Halsey

This is one of those vexing problems that is handled very easily by that
"Swiss Army Chainsaw of the Internet", Perl. Ask you IT person to
install it on your box (I presume you are on Windoze). Your sysadmin can
probably write a simple script for you, if you don't know Perl.
