Hi All,
The management have decided that they want an on-line parts catalogue and
guess who's got the job of implementing it?
The catalogue is to be easily browsable and accessible by:
A photo of each item,
A product description,
A data sheet,
Serial number,
Manufacturers serial number,
Links to manufacturers websites with online ordering,
Seamless integration with the stock management system, Fourth Shift, which
uses Access as its base.
Anybody else had to set up something similar and would like to share their
wisdom. All advice would be appreciated, especially on the pitfalls
and on software that will make the job easier and first class when its
finished.
