few of us enjoy on-list answers to survey questions like
"How many on the list are using Visio?"

Then there are requests for simple factual information,
like "Where can I find a simultaneous translator near
Akron?" Answers there tend to repetitiveness, no point
reading more than a summary of them.

Questions warranting discussion are another matter,
of course. For those, I sometimes wish that individual
messages had summaries...
