The best utility I found is also FREE!
Try ht://dig, which can be found at http://www.htdig.org/.

It's pretty easy to install, and you can run it anytime you update your
files.
It use it for providing search services on our company's website at
http://www.cha-systems.com/. See our website for a full working copy of the
application.
