this. The concensus was that there is no concensus.
One camp says that serifs for print, sans serif for
online. The other says this is culturally
conditioned.
me, I prefer serifs for print and sans serif for
online use, due to the difference in resolution in the
two media. but that's personal preference and not
backed up by anything other than that well-known
expert Everybody Knows That.
