Sorry I missed this question earlier... one of the things I can definitely
contribute is the skill I've developed opening up/repairing over 2000 Macs
;-)

General requirements for the software at:

ViaVoice needs a G3 processor or above with the right microphone, but the
demos have been very interesting 8-)
