Funny this topic should come up. I have been ruminating over a different
problem since yesterday.

I've noticed that depending on what method is used to insert a graphic
figure in a Word document, the menu that comes up when you right-click the
mouse over the figure may or may not contain the option "Caption." I'm not
sure what the "demarcation point" is, but I do know that this feature works
when I insert a graphic as a linked or embedded OLE object.

At the moment, I'm inserting VB-created screenfaces into a requirements
document. The only way I know to do this is to run the "application" in
VB, do "printscreen" captures, and paste them in the Word doc.
Unfortunately, this is one of the methods that does not allow me to insert
a caption in the manner described above.

I know about "Insert/Caption," but that method has two problems:

1. I have to turn off the text box border every time.

2. The Table of Figures does not recognize the caption as an entry.

What am I missing?

TIA
