Geoff has it right. I can clarify one thing.

The "icon=myicon.ico" specifies what is displayed on the desktop. The CD drive
representation changes to the icon specified.
Also, if autodetection is turned on for any of your other removable drives
(including 3.5" floppies), the same trick can be used.
Great for identifying and personalising your collection of data. An icon file
and one line inf file don't use up that much room.

1. In a text editor, create the file autorun.inf
2. Type the following text in the file:
[autorun]
open = setup.exe <-- replace this with the name of
your PowerPoint file
icon = myicon.ico <-- not sure what this does, other than
to display the icon
3. Save the file, and away you go.
