In order to end up with a single PDF file from multiple files all
you have to do is create a PDF file for each of your files.
Assume you have Word files doc1, doc2, doc3 etc. Create the PDF
files for those docs, separately.
Then open Doc1.pdf in Acrobat Exchange. Go to the end of the PDF
file, select Document>Insert Pages from the menu.
You are prompted to select a file to insert. Choose and click
Select.
An insert dialog box appears in which you set where you want the
file inserted (i.e., after the last page, before a certain page,
etc. -- see the dialog box for all choices). Since you want to
"append" the next file
