With reference to the posting on creating flow diagrams, no one has
mentioned Micrographix's Charter (used to be ABC FlowCharter)
program. I use this exclusively in generating flow diagrams and
process maps supporting our ISO 9000-compliant quality system and
have not had any major problems. The latest version, 7.0, allows you
to save the file in a number of formats such as .tif, .jpg, .bmp, so
you don't have too much probelm copying or embedding them in your
Word documents. Give it a looksee, it might be the answer to your
problems. Their website is
