I learned by examining and using existing templates. Coupled with the
Manual, it's worked very well. Adobe has a template series and a
"how-to" primer for template design which is pretty useful. You can
download the primer and the template packs from their web site.
(www.adobe.com - don't know exactly where.) The template packs are a
good showcase for the various things you can use FrameMaker to
accomplish.
