Thanks a bunch to all who responded. As an FYI - not everyone gave me leads
on TW jobs - which was great, as I'm more of a Tech support/trainer who
happens to do docs too.

Here's some of the info I got (I left names out to protect the 'innocent')

"The job market in Halifax is booming right now if you've got a few solid
years of experience behind you."
"The big recruiting agency here is Gossine Sully and Associates"
(sorry, couldn't find a URL)

http://www.acc.net
(Atlantic Canada Careers website - openings all over Canada's East Coast)

http://www.brains-talent.com.
website of local recruiting firm, Robinson Surette.

http://www.manpower.com/cgi-bin/ndCGI.exe/jobs/pagNAJobSearch

"Although I don't see a lot of jobs *advertised* for technical writers,I
believe they're out there in the "hidden" market. The IT industry seems to
be growing steadily in the Halifax area. In the Halifax Herald, for example,
there are often jobs postings for developers, network specialists, support
people, and so on. So somewhere out there, there's gotta be jobs for TWs."

For those of you considering relocating to Canada's East Coast, let me say:

1) I never should have left ;-)
2) Don't expect any major musical theatre ;-) but do expect beautiful
scenery and friendly people
3) The following websites have proven invaluable (especially since I
searched them all out for weeks!)

I have a ton more, but these are the ones with Nova Scotia specific info.
Wish me luck! And thanks to those who already did! :-)
