Y'all have it totally wrong. A professional technical writer uses an IBM
Selectric II and lets the desktop publishing team figure out what to do
with it. :-)

The TRS-80 Color Computer is the only way to go for technical
communication.
If you disagree with me, well, you must be a rabid incompetent
nincompoop!

Actually, as with everything else in the Tech Writing world, it
depends.
What apps are you going to be using? Are they available for
both platforms?
Any networking concerns? Is this your home computer? If so,
what games
are you going to play (a vitally important component of any
computer)?

First, figure out what you want to do, then decide on the best
tool for
doing it. After all, the computer is just a tool.

Jason
