Not surprising at all; Times (in all its variations) *is* a
difficult-to-read face. It wasn't designed for readability in a
full-page-width letter format and certainly doesn't achieve it.

But does this say something about serif versus sans-serif fonts, or about a
relatively open face versus a narrow one, or does it simply say "Don't
choose a hard-to-read font face if you want a document read"?
