Run-on Tables in Word

Hi ladies and gents,

I am having a problem in MS Word and wondered if anybody else has had the
same problem, and if so any workarounds.

I have a table that spans approx 5 pages - summarizing information from the
larger document. When viewed on screen, the bottom of the tables have a
visible bottom border, set up using the borders formatting button. However,
when it prints on any HP printer, the bottom of the tables on each page
excluding the last do not print with any borders, giving the appearance of
what I call run-on tables.

An artificial forced solution would be to divide the tables up by page with
one table per page; this seems to print well regarding the bottom border. The
problem with this approach of course is maintenance if the individual table
should grow past one page again (likely - it is a table of the team members
of a development group and their roles and responsibilities).

All related suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance...
