Brief Description of Job Duties:
Research, write, and edit online documentation to describe the API of our
image acquisition software to a developer audience. Successful candidate
will work in a documentation team environment and will interact closely with
our developers and QA engineers.
Skills Required:
Strong research, writing, and editing skills. Experience with RoboHELP and
publishing tools a plus. Good understanding of Microsoft programming tools
and programming environments. Strong communications and interpersonal
skills; self-motivated.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years experience in a technical writing/documentation environment.
Experience documenting programming environments for Windows developers a
definite plus. Associate's or bachelor's degree in English or a technical
field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
Additional Remarks:
Some experience writing programs in Visual Basic, C++, or another
object-oriented language needed.
