I agree. Age discrimination is alive and well. My fiance is 55,
well-qualified, and having a tough time finding a job. I'm 51, fortunately
employed (but keeping my eyes open for opportunities). I have sent out
numerous resumes documenting my 15 yrs. experience in tech writing, and got
one phone interview which didn't go farther because they wouldn't match my
current salary.
