This comes from an agency I've worked with. This agency is a general
high-tech placement agency (body shop) with no particular
expertise in tech writers--as a matter of fact, I was the
first tech writer placed by this (experienced) agent, although
far from the first for the agency. The agency itself isn't
particularly large or well-known, FWIW.

>...tech writers seem to be the most active job seekers. If I post

>writer, I'll often receive 20 responses the first day and 5 per day
>after that. I also receive at least two resumes a day from tech writers
>who aren't responding to any particular job, just mass mailing to all
>the recruiting firms in the area.

No particular point here...just thought it was interesting information.
