Converting back and forth between Word 95 and Word 97
Subject:Converting back and forth between Word 95 and Word 97 From:Dawn-Marie Oliver <Dawn-Marie -at- CONCUR -dot- COM> Date:Mon, 14 Sep 1998 13:17:14 -0700
Hi all, I've got a rather sticky problem we're dealing
with here.
The background:
We are running Win95 systems with Word 95 in our
department. The rest of the company is running WinNT
with Word 97 (various reasons I won't go into).
We are constantly running into issues with translation
between the two worlds, including incompatible templates,
graphics suddenly getting undeletable borders on two
sides, missing bullets, corrupted files, and numbering
problems.
We also release some of these documents to customers, and
have been releasing as Word 95.
I have searched the Microsoft archives and only come up
with a solution for the disappearing bullets.
My questions that I need advice on:
+ Any sites that contain solid help for this situation?
