Kelly and others,

I haven't proved this, but I think fill patterns will greatly influence
file size. Figuring out how to describe Visio's fill patterns in postscript
and vectors would make your head spin. Some graphics lend themselves better
to postscript than others. Simple line art probably doesn't convert to an
oversize eps file.

Chris Knight replied:
Yes it can, although I have found it generates extremely large output
files. Much larger than I would expect considering Visio is working in
a vector format.
