Prompted by your question, I checked -- there IS a version of Lynx for
Win95 and WinNT! (as well as for DOS, VMS, OS/2, and many flavors of
UNIX).  Go to

        http://lynx.browser.org

and follow the rather obtuse links, or, for the Windows version, go
straight to

        http://www.fdisk.com/doslynx/lynxport.htm

and then click on "Win32 version".
