TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I want to thank everybody for their help / opinions / suggestions, etc. It
was very much appreciated. A couple of things I didn't mention was:
1 - all of our users are internal
2 - all of our users will have (at least) I.E. 3.0
After reviewing a list of +'s and -'s for each option, the option of using
*.PDF files is overwhelming and cannot be ignored. Unfortunately, I don't
know a thing about working with *.PDF files, so now it's research time
again!
Thanks for all your help! If anyone wants to see my breakdown of plus and
minuses, please reply to me directly.
