TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Not having access to the archives here, I don't know if this subject
has been discussed or not. Has anyone out there done a cost/benefit
analysis for a CBT project? Particularly one where the writers
involved will not be dedicated to the project but will be juggling
this along with their other work? And where only part of the
application can be taught by CBT and the rest must be handled by a
live trainer?
I have to work up such an analysis, but could use some help. Any ideas
or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks very much,
Dianne Walsh
